Kaela Berg is the Director of the Minnesota Fair Trade Coalition and a part-time union flight attendant. She is a long time labor activist and first became interested in trade issues while fighting CAFTA with the United Steelworkers. Through her trade work, she has had the opportunity to travel to Colombia twice as a member of a Witness for Peace delegation and also to lead a trade focused WFP delegation to Cuba. She is active in the MN DFL Party holding positions including being a Senate District Director, an alternate to the State Central committee, sits on the Platform, Issues, and Legislative Affairs committee and was elected to be a Bernie Sanders delegate to the DNC in Philadelphia. She is a founding member of a racial and economic justice committee, sits on a clean energy equity roundtable and is part of a coalition that works on the clean power plan in Minnesota.
